Yesterday afternoon Cameron and I had left over Spaghetti for lunch. Cameron ate about 1/3 of his plate and then said he was done. He left his plate on the table so he could eat more later, but Andrew got to it first. Like I said before, I forget how tall Andrew is and how far he can reach because Cameron's plate was not necessarily on the edge. I didn't see Andrew knock his plate off the table, and it wasn't until Cameron told me that Andrew was eating his food, that I realized what was going on. But sure enough, Andrew was sitting in a pile of red sauce pasta eating away. From the pictures you can't see how much food was truly on the floor, but it was a lot. Andrew had himself a snack, then after a good scrub in the bath he was put in time out (hence the high chair photo) while I bissle cleaned the carpet.
Oh, man. I am SO so so so sorry. When we finish our floors, maybe we should come over and do yours? ;)
ReplyDeleteI have NEVER understood why builders put carpet in eating areas!!! Good thing you have the Bissell.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks! At least you have a Bissel! My carpet is disgusting right now...maybe I need Kelly to borrow your Bissel so he can clean our carpets:)
ReplyDeleteoh no!!! With each kid it's surprising how that mobile/get-into-everything stage sneaks up on you.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I remember those days SO well! Thank goodness for the Bissel! They should pass those out at the hospital instead of diaper bags :) Maybe insurance could cover it under mental sanity!
ReplyDeleteThe Bissel comes in handy when they're older too! Andrew looks so innocent in his time out - what a cutie. We also got a kick out of Cameron sledding down the stairs and Austin writing Maika love notes!
